HDClone is a free program for creating backups and images from physical and logical drives. This tool is also great for managing backups and copies of operating systems, and a special SafeRescue mode makes it possible to recover data from damaged disks and other storage locations. High accuracy in creating copies is achieved by sector-by-sector copying of information from the disk.
SafeRescue supports IDE/ATA/SATA/SATA II/SATA (AHCI) drives and works with large drives (over 137GB). It can also create a bootable floppy or CD/DVD/BD.
