Microsoft Authenticator is a free application from Microsoft that lets you quickly and securely verify your identity online across all accounts. A variety of features are available for all account types, whether you have a Microsoft account (personal/work/student) or a Google account, Facebook account, etc.
Using the program is easy enough: when you log in after entering your password, you will be asked for an additional way to confirm your identity. Approve notifications in Microsoft Authenticator or enter the verification code created by the app.
