PascalABC.NET for Windows

PascalABC.NET is an Object Pascal language for Microsoft.NET that includes all the basic elements of modern programming languages: modules, classes, overloading operations, interfaces, exceptions, generalized classes, and garbage collection. PascalABC.NET also includes a simple visual environment that focuses on effective learning of programming.

PascalABC.NET is very similar to the Delphi programming language. It has a number of new features, such as in-block variables, autodefinition of type when describing, methods in records, variable parameter subroutines, +=, -=, *=, /= operators, foreach, and variable description in the loop header.

The system is based on the Microsoft .NET platform which provides PascalABC.NET language with a huge number of standard libraries and allows you to easily combine it with other .NET-languages: C#, Visual Basic.NET, managed C++, Delphi.NET, Delphi Prism and others.

The integrated environment provides syntax highlighting, code hinting (point hinting, subroutine parameter hinting, code pop-up hinting), subroutine definition and implementation, refactoring elements, documenting comments handling.

The system includes most of the learning-oriented modules of the Pascal ABC programming system:

• GraphABC Raster Graphics Module.
• Vector Graphics module ABCObjects for quickly learning the basics of object-oriented programming and writing simple game and tutorial programs.
• Robot and Blueprints modules, designed to teach the basics of programming to elementary and middle school students.
