Paint.NET is a graphical editor Paint.NET has an elaborate interface and considerable functionality compared to the standard MS Paint editor that comes with Windows. Only Adobe PhotoShop has similar functionality. Paint.NET was created by the students of Washington State University under the keen guidance of Microsoft specialists.
Among the most outstanding features of the program are an enormous library of special effects and filters, easy extensibility via third-party written modules, the ability to manipulate image layers, zooming from 1% to 3200%, work with scanner and camera, and many other features - including "anti-aliased" tools, blur, red-eye removal and so on.
Paint.NET is a free alternative to expensive software, has an extensive feature set, and has support for tablets.
