ParkControl is a simple, free utility that allows you to adjust individual CPU settings to get the best performance from your computer under different workloads. Adjustments are available here for options such as:
- AC parking, DC parking - the minimum number of cores (in %) that should remain un-parked (active),
- AC scaling frequency, DC scaling frequency - minimum CPU frequency (in %).
By default, 9 main CPU modes are already built into the program: high performance, optimized, balanced, energy saving, game mode, etc. Each of them has its own parameter values in percentage ratio. If you want, you can change them by moving the slider or by writing new numbers.
The CPU frequency, the number of its cores, and the current parked status are displayed as additional information.
