ImgBurn is an excellent program for burning CD/DVD images. Created by the author of the popular but once-closed DVD Decrypter project, designed for copying and removing protection from DVD discs.
The main feature of the program is the support for a large number of drives from different manufacturers, supports all the latest drives, including recorders with the ability to change the book type / bitsetting parameter (from BenQ, LiteOn, NEC, Plextor, Sony).
The program can burn most types of CD/DVD images. ImgBurn has a number of options, where you can set associations with the supported image file extensions (BIN, GCM, LST, UDI, CDI, FI, MDS, CDR, IMG, NRG, DVD, ISO, PDI) and select the burning interface (ASPI, ASAPI, SPTI).
Besides the above-mentioned, ImgBurn also features media data verification, write quality analysis, and different information about the disc and its physical structure. It is possible to search the Internet and download new firmware versions for a given drive. You can change the ISO-image label, lock/unlock the opening of the drive tray, etc. Disks can be cleaned both quickly and completely.
